The Blank Page

There is nothing more frightening or as deliciously beautiful as a blank page.

A New Beginning

I am starting a new chapter in my life, and on a whim I have decided to start a new blog. It is a bit ironic, actually, seeing as blogging was really important to me at one point and now that I have started this new phase I am resurrecting this old habit. But it seems the right time to do so. It is very therapeutic after all.

Anyway, why Blank Page? Because in my limited experience, the blank page is the most powerful tool at anyone's disposal. A blank page can be turned into a poem, essay, novel, manifesto or any piece of literature that can inspire the powerful emotions that humans feel and share on a very fundamental level. Because a blank page can change the fate of anyone and everyone on the planet. Marx's notes started as blank pages, and they have been the vessels of ideas that brought the rises and falls of many a society. A blank page can be a blessing or a curse, a proverbial band-aid or weapon, the conveyer of ideas and feelings. What I'm trying to say is that a blank page, in it's infinite possibilities, can be made into something so special, so sacred that it changes the world. So that is why.

Pindot? It was just a word I made up because everything else was taken.

So as I start college, I start this chronicle of my journey, this blank page, in hopes that it will someday fulfill it's potential.
